16th Anniversary

This wonderful June evening we met at Joy's home
as we celebrated 16 years of Book Club.

In attendance:
Joy, Judy Lemmons (visiting from VA), Kanoe, Maria, Malani, Jamie, and Cortney

We searched for upcoming books that would fill our minds and interests. I think we did a great job compiling a group of books to finish out 2019.

At the close of our evening, Cloe, Mehana and Amber (our 2019 grads) joined in for a game of "Oh, Heck"

Side note, if you look up the rules to "Oh, Heck" . . . the www isn't so discretionary as to use the word Heck.

We met at Joy's home. We all enjoyed this book and found the correspondence of letters as a writing style very intriguing. Some of us had watched the adaptation on Netflix and found the movie to be every bit enjoyable as the book. I personally even liked the movie more. I really like the group of actors.  ~ Joy
